On the federal level, we have seen continued attacks on the home care reimbursement as well as historic cuts to Medicaid. At the same time, we have seen legislators at the New Mexico Roundhouse not fully understand the implications of these federal decisions for our Medicaid providers until we educate them. As a result of our state-level advocacy, we have achieved reimbursement rate increases. We have also successfully lobbied against unnecessarily burdensome regulations such as paid family medical leave assessments for Medicaid providers. To continue this momentum and sustain our progress, we need your continued support. And we want to have fun doing it! We will be hosting our Cornhole Tournament on Friday, September 26th 12-5pm at Dirty Bourbon. This tourney will double as a Home Care & Hospice PAC raiser.
