Staff

Meggin Lorino, LMSW, CAE
Meggin Lorino is a seasoned nonprofit executive with over 25 years of experience advancing the health and well-being of special populations. Since 2017, she has served as Executive Director of the New Mexico Association for Home & Hospice Care, where she oversees membership services, education, and government relations. Under her leadership, association membership has grown by nearly 40%, advocacy efforts have expanded significantly, and the organization has delivered high-quality, highly engaging education to its members.
Meggin is a passionate advocate for aging in community and has deep expertise in strategic planning, compliance management, grant writing, and community development. Earlier in her career, she directed Neighborhood-Based Senior Services at Baker Ripley, one of the nation’s leading nonprofits.
She holds a Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential and is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in New Mexico. Meggin earned her Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin and her Bachelor of Arts from the University of New Mexico. She is an active leader on multiple statewide boards and advisory committees, committed to collaborative leadership and systems-level impact.

Elise Maughan
Elise is passionate about building resilient communities through behind-the-scenes support grounded in clarity and reliability. With a background in education, construction, and the creative arts, she brings a thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to internal operations. In public education, she worked to strengthen connections between students and community resources. Elise holds a B.A. in English from Drake University and is excited to support the mission of compassionate care in New Mexico. Outside of work, she enjoys photography, visiting museums, and watching the birds with her cats.
