as a candidate for the Board of Directors of the New Mexico Association for Home & Hospice Care, for the term beginning in January 2018.








The Board of Directors consists of persons elected by and from the voting membership.
be composed of the Association’s President, President-Elect, Secretary, Treasurer, and Member-At-Large. The remaining board members will be reflective of the voting membership throughout the State. At the discretion of the elected Board of Directors, the immediate Past President may serve as a member of the Board. The number of directors, including officers, shall not be less than nine (9) nor more than twelve (12). The Executive Director shall sit as an ex-officio member.

Representative of voting members may be eligible to serve on the Board of Directors subject to the following conditions:

  1. No more than one (1) director may be from the same voting member and no more than two (2) directors may be from the same or an affiliated organization.

  2. No more than three (3) directors may be other than licensed home care and hospice provider members.

  3. Candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements in order to be placed on the ballot:

    1. Have two (2) years home care or hospice experience;

    2. Have actively served on a committee of the Association; and

    3. Have been employed by a member for at least twelve (12) months.
